"Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise" (Psalm 33:3).
This verse defines the Crossroads Music Ministry. Choirs, soloists, ensembles, instrumentalists and sound technicians seek to glorify God and minister to God's people. As the right balance of excellence and ministry is sought, ministry servants ultimately desire to encourage, uplift and prepare hearts for the preaching of the Word of God.
The Crossroads Choir, Crossroads Singers, Male Chorus and Children's Choir have varying schedules. The Crossroads Choir and Singers have regular weekly rehearsals with more intensive schedules around Christmas and Easter. The Male Chorus and Children's Choir have a more seasonal schedule.
The Christmas and Easter Productions are two major events. In addition, the COEBA National Gathering, Bible and Missions Conferences and occasional road trips are commitments for music ministry servants.
Studio recordings are produced at least once every two years.
Regular rehearsals take place every first and second Saturday at 10:30 a.m. and Sundays at 4:30 p.m.
The Master Music Schedule (MMS) is an internal ministry document that outlines the entire choir and special selection schedule for a four-month period. The MMS allows musicians to prepare well in advance and minister more effectively.
